Gregory S. McKee

Greg has worked in the Smithsonian Institution department of Botany for the past 28 years and is the technician in charge of the fern collection. He has collected plants in Costa Rica, Ethiopia, Guyana, and Mongolia. While in Mongolia, Greg assisted Smithsonian Archaeologists with excavations on the Mongolian-American Deerstone project. He has also been on over 30 Paleontological expeditions on the East Coast of the US for Marine vertebrates from the Miocene and Paleocene eras.
